Various activities throughout the community including teen dance, outdoor family movie, boat parade, square dance, road race, street parade, ecumenical service, children’s games, old fashioned tea, outdoor gala, crafts, beer garden, milling frolic,open mic/jam session, farmer's market, Pioneer Mass, roast beef dinner, and special concert at Strathspey Place to wrap the week's activities.

The Mabou Ceilidh is a long-running community festival, now in it's 43rd year! For 2010, we're going to spice things up with a few new events and activities so check out our event listings, dust of your instruments, warm up your vocal chords and get ready for a Great Big Shindig

Wednesday July 14th
• Mitch Mac Donald Family Concert –7PM - Strathspey Place

Thursday July 15th
• Outdoor Family Movie- West Mabou Ball Field (8 PM)
• Teen Dance at the Mabou Athletic Centre
Doors close at 10:00pm (9:30PM-12AM)

Friday July 16th
• Ball Hockey Tournament- Dalbrae Academy OR West Mabou Tennis Courts (12PM-4PM)
• Boat Parade- Starts from Mabou Harbour (6PM)
• Ecumenical Service- Mabou Marina (7PM)
• Open Mic/Jam Session on the Waterfront- Mabou Marina (9PM-12PM)

Saturday July 17th
• Hugh Arnold Campbell Memorial Road Race & Fun Run - Registration at 8am, Race at 9am at Dalbrae Academy (New 5 KM run/walk added to the race this year!)
• Parade 12PM (Rain or Shine)
• Games & Activities/3 Bouncy Houses (including a 5 in 1 obstacle course and a 16 ft’ slide)/Outdoor Gala Concert/Canteen/Craft Market/Tea/Milling Frolic/Beer Gardens/Bingo/BBQ and more (1pm) - Dalbrae Academy
• Adult Dance (10 – 2am) at the Mabou Athletic Centre (Gov’t ID Required)

Sunday July 18th
• Pioneer Mass (11am) at the St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery, Mabou (If rain, Mass to be held in the Church)
• Farmers' Market (11 - 2pm) at the Mabou Arena
• Lucky Duck Race (1:30 pm) From David MacMillan’s farm in Glendyer to the Bridge
• Anything You Can Float Race (3pm) at the Mabou Marina
• Roast Beef Dinner (12 – 2pm) at the Mabou Hall
$12 - Adults
$5 - Children under 12
• Ceilidh Concert- A Tribute to John Morris Rankin- 8 PM- Strathspey Place
